Animal Crossing Happy Home Designer Review

  

A new Animal Crossing game. Alright! I myself love the Animal Crossing series since they're happy, fun, and time consuming games. Literally when New Leaf came out I played that game so much I dreamed I was playing it in my sleep so when Happy Home Designer was announced I was really excited, like so excited....the most excited. It is a really fun concept it's basically just a whole game based on the designing of your own home from New Leaf but, better. There are all sorts of animals to work for and furniture to try for their homes it's really fun! You can also design buildings and shops which you can then see your animals interact in them which is really adorable and cool. The items in this game are really  appealing to look at and allow for great themes in homes you design.  Especially since the Animals also use the things you put in there and react when they like or dislike them. Also since your a full time employee you have to wear your uniform which I don't like that much but isn't a major gripe. Now Animal Crossing is normally a game that has an in game clock that goes by real time and has specific events happen on certain dates and the fun comes from the people in your town and things like that. This game however is nothing like that you have furniture and spaces to build on for certain animals and it's pretty fun. However it is a series of small jobs to perform so the times you play will be short and frequent, I personally really enjoy designing a house or two in the mornings before school or before bed. You actually end the entire day after finishing designing a home which is really odd that a day just ends in an Animal Crossing game but you get used to it after two or three homes. So unlike previous Animal Crossing games the longest you'll tend to commit to it at a time is around an hour or so unlike previous titles where you'd spend several hours working towards one task through various entertaining means, but since it's efficient at what it does it is sort of a good thing. So over all the main game is fun and quick I think it's a really great game just not marathon material like the previous games. I give it my final rating of 8/10 and definitely say to pick it up.
