Retro gaming a perspective

What is retro gaming the dictionary defines retro as "a prefix occurring in loanwords from Latin meaning “backward” or of or designating the style of an earlier time",But  how long ago does an earlier time have to be I mean yesterday is an earlier time but noone says "I played this game that came out two days ago its so retro." so anything qualifies as retro... right? right? oh god dang i- WRONG WRONG WRONG! Retro is in my opinion what is old and nostalgic to someone but also old in general I mean I don't really think it's gonna be retro unless its GameCube era and that's a stretch.I mean I guess if a 3 year old got a wii when it came out and is now 10 he could classify the wii as retro or maybe retro just depends on age and personal experience maybe it's a stretch but most gamers who use "retro gaming" mean old so it really depends on age but you could classify retro gaming as nostalgic gaming depending on the context so yeah that's it see ya

BLIND WASTEFUL REBUYING

I am a little stupid about buying things I am an impulse buyer I bought Mega man X and Earthbound today on E-shop on my Wii u and I already own the Mega man x collection on my ps2 (currently in package for the move) and Ive only heard somewhat good things about Earthbound so yea but Im making this mini blog so you guys can tell me your thoughts on the games and tell me If it was a good buy

The Icee-Slurpee discussion

Alright now I LOVE Slurpees and Icees I love them so much I have blood flowing with them.Much praise to them I am a slushie/ice drink conusuire and these rock so much but I question whats the better value I mean whats better and which is more convient to get so lets begin this blog with this discussion.


Round 1:Conveniance
Alright its not very fair right 7-11s are everywhere but think you can get Icees in more stores gas stations and things but you can only get slurpees in 7-11s. BUT this is a debate so are 7-11s more common than ALL THE PLACES YOU CAN GET ICEES and here in the south and east you cant get slurpees at all (Im so glad Im moving to Colorado)well at least not the parts Ive seen so yea its easier to get Icees but Icees dont win because in places like Colorado there EVERYWHERE and close together so Its hard to say Im gonna call it a draw cause if you live near a place to get slurpees then your probably surrounded by them but you could live in *shudder* Alabama like I do now where there nowhere or somwhere worse*shudder**shudder* Teeeeexas where there existant but in hiding.So DRAW Oh btw Icees are in Subway and Sonic(market not food place sonic food has slushies of there own)

UHHHHHNNNGGGGHHHHHHHH OK OK so this one might seem super obvious but hear me out ok
nevermind Slurpees totally stomp Icees they have more flavors in one store as opposed to icees that usually have only 2 and they have more flavors in general...right slurpee wins...right?Well who has better fla-LOOK AT THE SLURPEE FLAVORS

ok ok but icees have some good flavors like uh... never mind Icee has 17 flavors and anything they have slurpees got a better version and my list was from 2008 and IVE SEEN NEW FLAVORS OF SLURPEE so yeah Slurpee wins by a landslide.

ROUND 3:PRICE AND SIZE

Alrighty lets just get this over with Icees are smaller but cheaper BUT Slurpee beats it here too cause in areas with Slurpees taxes arent as much and refills are cheaper than originals so you could just buy one and get cheap refills so Slurpee wins and you probably were like "I know slurpees are way better mpph" but the reason I did this is cause even though slurpees are better Icees try and are good to and most people look over them so every once in a while dont get the far superior slurpee get an Icee.  oh and the icee flavors were

Alright Im writing this off the top of my head while watching workaholics at 1:32 am but I did get SOME sleep so thats all good...after writing good I totally zoned out.Ok ok I know I dont have too do another but I want too,so Im gonna talk about one of  my favorite games M-E-G-IDDY-MEGIDDY MEGA MAAAAN my absolute favorite game MEGA MAN 2 so this is kinda cop outy cause I constantly play this game but lets begin on this games AWESOME TO THE BILLIONTH POWER-NESS I have this on my wii and wii u and ITS AMAZING (FYI game grumps recently played it and its hilarious) I mean if you havent played it DIE IN A FIRE alright but really if you havent played this at least listen to the music because IT ROCKS I would pay for a cd of this games music I also say check out these awesome guys the protomen,the megas,and Brentalfloss they do awesome game music stuff.

Also I have the boss order memorized so brb Imma make a graph to show the order and some tips...ok so the picture shows the order to fight them the words tell what to do and why.

ok ok so that took me a while to make that graph on paint but it should tell you the jist of what to do

or if you want a real challenge do it in reverse cause that guide just makes it easier but it is possible to do all the bosses with just the mega buster so it can be super hard or super moderate if you want it to be and I think the abilitie to mix it up like that making the game harder or easier as you please and the bosses are so fun to fight after the stages also the wily stages and E-tanks rock they rock so much I made a perler bead E-tank I guess thats about all for this blog so see ya later

Still Bored

Alright so I added an extremely lackluster background and font color to this *sigh* I suppose I should get around to making an actual background but...yea thats happening so meh. Anyways I might just have to

do some kind reveiw...thingy but of what I need something thats not reveiwed the heck out of so why dont you 0 fans of mine reccomend some stuff(but remember what I like from the first blog so you dont pick something stupid).So its 12:45 pm and I never went to bed last night so Im just doing...this so I think Ill just reveiw this game I downloaded F-zero(keep in mind this is off the top of my head so recomend movies and games still)

alright so during the image search for this I found out THIS IS THE GAME CAPTAIN FALCONS FROM I think im assuming cause of the images that came up I did not know this so MIND BLOW anyways I love smash bros. so Im glad I got this PURELY AT RANDOM cause it looked cool and I love racing games.So lets review this old school puppy so the game has knight mode,king mode,and queen mode which I found to be odd in a futuristic game like this but thats a nit pick (not sure if I spelled nit right for that)but thats just me so this game costs 7.99 on the wii u e-shop I say its more than worth most of it. The reason I say most of it cause some tracks are F-ING RIDLEY,KRAID,MOTHER BRAIN AND SAMUS ATTACKING YOU WITH HER SUPER MISSILES!!! I mean it gradually gets harder and there are easy and hard modes but GAAAWWWD I mean some levels are fun smooth and fly but some like DEEEAAAATTTTHHH WWWIIIIINNNDDDD AAHHHHHHGGGGGHHHHH ARE THE APOCALYPSE!!!I mean in all seriousness some levels expect better than perfect racing to get first or even third rank in the race but I say still worth it.

The terrible beginings

LISTEN UP MAGGETS...nah Im just kiddin around. Im Wailordtheking and you will refer to me as wailord,the king,or king anyways Im gonna discuss my thoughts on video games,movies,N-stuff.
So Im gettin sick of this too big font there we go now. I enjoy random obscure internet things oh btw  PLANET ZEBETH. Anyways I love random internet things like homestarrunner and this EXTREMELY OBSCURE other blog homestarrerunner anyways in this blog I shall  discuss my favorite movies,games,and other things (evil dead,and mega man 2 btw) And were finally getting somewhere (noone mention i probably need like 10 billion periods there).

Now then lets begin with July 9th (my b-day) I recently aquired a wii u deluxe that came with nintendo land,So anyways I play it for a little while (metroid hunters the best btw)and decide to download old games henceforth the "ish". So I buy 75 bucks worth of wii u money (26 still unused) and get mega man 1-4 (I already owned btw but they were discounted to a dollar each) Punch out,Metroid,etc. so basically these sort of things will be the base of my blog.OH AND MAGIC, geek stuff too, and frisbee golfing + mountain biking and kayaking on occasion. I live with my parents and work at my grandmas as dishwasher so yeah I balance all that and my horribly neglected social life cause people SUCK in Alabama southern hospitality
my *censored word*....BUT NOW its all good cause were moving to colorado where I discovered 7-11s I mean sure Im out of a job but I wouldnt work that much in fall-summer cause of high school anyways.FYI I can ride a bike anywhere now so YEEEEEEAAAA- but thats not gonna help with no cash...NOOOOOOOO but I hope to get an allowance so meh.Thats the intro to this deal with it anyways at the time of writing this The Evil Dead remake dvd comes out and I am a die hard evil dead/army of darkness/horror/old school horror/just Bruce Cambell in general and I must purchase this immedietly and speaking of which I also love old horror like Bela Lugosi and Borris Karloff oh and Lon cheynney jr. plus Kane Hodder and uh that guy who plays Freddy uh so how bout that Wes craven.
